History

Hanna Paper was founded in 1977 on Hanna Avenue in Toronto, Canada, by George Millar and Larry Burns. Through the combination of their unique talents, Hanna Paper was born with the vision to provide a premier, customer-centric, waste paper management service to local businesses. Humbly founded with just 10 employees and a handful of small machines at a single facility, we now have 300 employees across our nine state-of-the-art facilities in North America. While Larry has since retired, the company is still owned and operated by the Millar family.

Today, our North American facilities service over 1,000 loyal clients. All nine facilities are fully equipped with the latest, high-speed, automatic baling equipment and state-of-the-art shredding machines. Each facility is supported by a fleet of tractor trailers, fully owned, operated, and maintained by Hanna Paper.

Our commitment to award-winning customer service has remained the same since the day of our inception. We aim to provide our clients with the best waste paper management solutions and best customer service experience, bar none.
